In the near future we will offer you the possibility to complete “Face To Face” Online exams via Skype.
Skype with audio and video-possibility
You will need a computer with microphone and Webcam, as well as installed Skype and a Skype account. You can find the download link and more information on Skype.
Identity card photo
For juridical reasons, we must be able to identify you in the examination. Thus, it is necessary that you have uploaded your identity card photo before the examination begins in the campus. You can find the function “upload a passport photo” under “your study”.
Bandwidth
For the online exam you will need a bandwidth that offers sufficient audio and video quality. Since that is not only dependant on the bandwidth but also with the type of your internet connection, we cannot unfortunately provide you with more detailed information to ensure good audio and video quality. Thus, please test your Skype connection beforehand. From an upload speed for more than 500kbit / you should not experience difficulties. Your internet connection can be checked on speed test.
Registration to an Online examination
For Online examinations, dates set by examination supervisors can be found on the online audit calendar. The registration for an exam can be done by choosing the desired date and the entering your Skype account name.
Please notice, that the registration must be completed at least 3 days before the planned date and cancellation of participation must be done within the same time limit. In case none of the suggested dates are suitable for you, you can contact the examination’s supervisor or the studies department (studienleitung@wwedu.com), and we can try to find a more convenient date for you.
Implementation of an Online examination
Please, make sure you are online at the time of the exam with the given Skype name, accept the contact inquiry from “… wwedu” and activate your Skype Webcam.
The supervisor calls you on Skype on the selected audit date (please do not try to contact the supervisor of the exam on Skype before the person calls you). After this the oral exam will be carried out by video conference, and it will be recorded and marked.
